Application Type 🢂 Printed Circuit Boards

A printed circuit board (PCB) mechanically supports and electrically connects electronic components or electrical components using conductive tracks, pads and other features etched from one or more sheet layers of copper laminated onto and/or between sheet layers of a non-conductive substrate. Various thin and thick films are applied to provide conductive properties, oxidation resistance and/or solderability preservation. Common standards provided by Calmetrics to measure the various film applications on PCB’s are categorized below. A more complete listing of these and other standards can be found in the Coating Thickness XRF Standards in the Products tab.

Notes:
1- For uniformity, definition is ((max thickness –min thickness)/average thickness) expressed as a percent where thicknesses may be determined anywhere on the exposed area of the foil.
2- “In stock” indicates delivery is 1 -2 weeks after placement of order
